So here's news of two exciting workshops coming up in the next week:
Chakradance has been described as 'The sister of yoga', however, there are no taught moves as you move to the music as only you know how. We dance with our eyes shut or a lowered gaze to music which resonates to each chakra. This creates a healing practice for mind, body and soul - giving you a fun, whole body workout.
The first workshop is this Saturday, 8th March; 'Chakradance: An Introduction.' Held from 2.30 - 4.30 this is a two hour workshop where you will find out more about Chakradance whilst experiencing a full length workshop for yourself. This is to be held at White Horse Yoga Centre in Devizes.
The second workshop is the following week, Saturday 15th March; 'Chakradance: The Awakening Dance'. This is the first workshop of the nine week cycle of the Awakening Chakradance workshops but will be held (roughly) monthly for those who can't commit to a weekly class. The added benefit is that this workshop will be held in the centre of Avebury, at Avebury Social Club, in the High Street, so you can come, have fun, and then spend time in Avebury itself. This workshop runs from 9.30 - 11.00, so you'll have plenty of time afterwards to explore, having given your chakras a thorough workout.
Details for both these workshops can be found on the 'Forthcoming Workshops' page.
These workshops are suitable whether you're new to Chakradance or a regular Chakradance fan. Each time the dance will feel different for you. I look forward to you joining me!
Each month, throughout 2017, I will be posting in more detail about the topic of the month. Let me know if there's anything specific you'd like me to discuss.
